NBEF 100 CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS FOR EXCELLENCE

The New Brunswick Education Foundation (NBEF), a
nonprofit 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization that
benefits New Brunswick Public School students, is
pleased to offer $1,000.00 NBEF 100 Club Scholarships
for Excellence to New Brunswick High School and New
Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School
graduating seniors who will be attending an institution
of higher learning in the fall 2008. These scholarships
are funded by the NBEF 100 Club and established to
provide financial support to deserving students for
academic achievement, leadership, community service and
other criteria.
The application period for the NBEF 100 Club
Scholarships for Excellence will be from Monday, April
7, 2008 through Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Candidates must
submit completed applications to their School’s Guidance
Department no later than the deadline of May 7th to be
eligible for a scholarship.
Recipients will be publicly recognized at the NBEF
Second Annual Awards Gala held on Wednesday, June 18,
2008 at the Imperia, 1714 Easton Avenue, in Somerset,
NJ. They will also be acknowledged via the NBEF
newsletter and website. The actual scholarship awards,
with a written designation for use, will be forwarded on
behalf of the recipients, directly to the various
colleges, universities and vocational training
institutions that they will attend.
EUGENE BODNAR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The family of the late Eugene Bodnar, who cared about
New Brunswick youth and education, is pleased to partner
with the New Brunswick Education Foundation to provide a
$500.00 scholarship for a New Brunswick High School and
New Brunswick Health Sciences Technology High School
graduating senior who will be attending an institution
of higher learning in the fall 2008. These scholarships
